Why Choose Us
Welcome To Hotel Ambassador
Ambassador hotel is located on the European side with wonderful view of the Marmara Sea, Sultanahmet Square with St. Sophia, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome and the Asian continent.

Hotel Ambassador has well furnished rooms and offers a warm atmosphere. Our friendly and helpful multi-lingual staff offers all guests a warm welcome and hospitality which makes the Ambassador Hotel to one of the most charming hotels in Istanbul.

After a full day's sightseeing in Istanbul, what better way to unwind and relax than to visit our traditional Turkish bath and Sauna?  The Ambassador hotel is proud to be one of the few hotels in Sultanahment to provide this facility.

A professional licensed masseur is on hand and will provide a selection of massage oils and Turkish massage to make your body feel like new and ready to tackle the next days sightseeing or shopping!

We also have our own fitness centre which is open 24 hours and free of charge to Ambassador Hotel guests.

Next to that guests can have a traditional turkish or international drink in our Lobby Bar - with big screen for late night movies - or visit our terrace on the 5th Floor where dinner is served in our Ambassador Gill Restaurant. Our restaurant offers you gourmet Turkish Cuisine (created by our chef) while enjoying the view over the historical city center, the Marmara Sea and Princes' Islands. Every night different specials are served for your pleasure.

Recommendation
A small friendly hotel is the Ambassador in Sultanahmet. An old, rather dark building, it is tucked away behind the main Divan Yolu thoroughfare in Ticarethane Sokak, which readers of my books will immediately recognise as Inspector Ikmen territory. It is very handy for all the main sights and possesses a wonderful rooftop terrace offering fantastic views of Aya Sofya, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and the Bosphorus. The friendly staff are a joy.

Experience the history and warmth of Istanbul's Premier Boutique Hotel...
The Ambassador Hotel was built over 150 years ago and last renovated in 1998. This boutique hotel can not be beaten by comfort and location. Rooms are average size, windows are double-glazed, and for a building this old, the bathrooms are very modern..."
